Hot air balloons and cultural fare: Long weekend events in Ottawa

Despite summer coming to a close, festival and events in Ottawa continue to fill up the calendar.

It’s a jam-packed weekend of events in the National Capital Region, including Capital Pride, the Capital Fair and a hot air balloon festival.

Ottawa Chinatown Night Market: Friday, Aug. 30 – Sunday, Sept. 1
This three-day event features a wide variety of non-stop multicultural performances, such as dragon and lion dance, live music, martial arts, and instrument performances. Also, cultural foods and a unique selection of street vendors.
