22-year-old Rockland man facing sexual assault charges

Charges have been laid in connection with a sexual assault investigation in Rockland.

Russell County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called about an alleged incident at a park on Thursday, Sept. 26, and say the accused and the victim were not known to each other.

Harry Tchinda II Mbete, 22 of Rockland, faces one count of sexual assault and was held for a bail hearing.

The victim was not injured.
