Police looking for suspect in Orleans store property damage investigation

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) are asking the public’s help in identifying a person suspected in a mischief to property at a store on Tenth Line Road, north of Innes Road in Orleans.

The incident took place on Aug. 31 in the early morning hours around 7:30 a.m.

Police say the suspect went into the store to buy something and was told the product was not in stock. He became angry and started “breaking items in the store”, says a police release.

After leaving the store, he hopped on a bus heading eastbound towards the Trim Road and Millenium Park area.

Police describe the suspect as follows:

  • Black Male
  • 25-35 years old
  • 5’7″ to 5’9″ in height
  • Thin build
  • Short facial hair
  • Wearing a black t-shirt and red bucket had at the time of the incident
