Motorcyclist airlifted from crash scene south of Smiths Falls

An Ornge air ambulance touched down after a single-vehicle collision on Country Road 17 just outside of Jasper, Ont.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said the crash happened at the intersection of Kitley Line 2 and County Road 17, south of Smiths Falls. The driver of a motorcycle is being transported to hospital with serious injuries police said.

The area is closed for the investigation.
