Three suspects to identify after victim left unconscious in roadway

Police are asking for the public’s help to track down three men who they believe were involved in an assault on Sept. 1.

It happened just after 2:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Besserer Street in Ottawa’s downtown core. According to police, a “large altercation” happened at a business in the area of Besserer Street and Dalhousie Street, before moving into the roadway.

One person was left unconscious and sustained serious injuries, officials said.

The first suspect is described as a White male with a medium build. At the time of the incident, he was seen wearing a black short-sleeved t-shirt, light blue jeans, black shoes with white soles and a black baseball hat.

Suspect 2 is a light-skinned male with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeved white shirt, dark pants and white, black and red shoes.

The third suspect is also a light-skinned male but with dark hair. He was last seen wearing an orange long-sleeved shirt, black pants and black shoes.
