Not only will it be warm, but temperatures are now record-breaking for Ottawa, which are forecasted to have a wet Halloween, at least for the evening hours.
Environment Canada is calling for a mix of sun and cloud for Oct. 31, and a daytime high around 23 C.
By 4:00 p.m. the previous record from 2003 was unofficially broken in the nation’s capital. That year Halloween was 21.3 C and on Thursday it reached 22 C, according to data from Environment Canada.

It’s also expected to be windy for parts of the day, with gusts up to 50 km/h for the afternoon.
The weather could still be favourable for early trick-or-treaters, but the climate agency is calling for showers this evening starting around 8:00 p.m. with gusty winds and a low 13 C.
Showers are forecast to end around midnight, with windy conditions continuing into Friday.
