Police say no threat to public safety after gunshots heard in Glebe

Ottawa Police Service is investigating after several reports were received about gunshots in the area of Percy St. and Clemow Ave. in the Glebe.

Police arrived at the area around 8:30 a.m. on Dec. 31 and cordoned off the area.

No victims have been identified nor have any attended Ottawa-area hospitals and the streets have since reopened.

Police are advising anyone who knows of someone injured to call 9-1-1.

Police are assuring the community there is no known threat to public safety.
