58-year-old man dead; Ottawa Police opens homicide investigation

The Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit is investigating the death of an adult male in Nepean on Friday evening. 

Police responded to calls from Pondhollow Way around 5:15 p.m., where they located a deceased 58-year-old man.

An investigation is ongoing and so far, no arrests have been made. Police report that there is no reason to believe there is and ongoing risk to public safety.

Officials have identified the victim as Wilson Sabarros of Ottawa.
