Officers looking for suspect in break-and-enter on Carling Avenue

Police are looking for this man in connection to a break-and-enter. (OPS)

Police are hoping to identify the person who broke into a Carling Avenue store on Jan. 20 and was caught on camera filling bags with products.

Officials said in a press release the break-in happened in the 1400 block of Carling Avenue in the early morning hours. The lone person grabbed items and left on foot.

The suspect is described as a man who at the time of the incident was wearing a black jacket with a grey and black hoodie underneath. He was also seen using large red and blue reusable bags.

Anyone with information regarding this incident or who knows the identity of this individual is asked to call the Break and Enter Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 4533 or email at breakandenter@ottawapolice.ca.
