OPS issues nearly 50 tickets, warnings in Carlington neighbourhood

Following traffic complaints from the Carlington community, the Ottawa Police Services (OPS) partnered up with Neighbourhood Resource Team, frontline patrol officers, the Traffic Enforcement and Air Support Units to address road safety concerns.

They conducted a traffic enforcement initiative in the Carlington area on Feb. 20, in effort to tackle traffic violations and improve road safety in the community, wrote OPS in a news release.

“Targeted enforcement initiatives like this one will continue to address community concerns and ensure compliance,” wrote OPS. “This operation reinforces our commitment to safer roads and responsible driving in Carlington.”
