Perth man charged in IPV investigation

A 57-year-old man from Perth has been charged following an intimate partner violence investigation.
Lanark County OPP began investigating an incident at a residence in Perth on March 29. As a result of the investigation, the man has been charged with uttering threats, two counts of assault, and two counts of failure to comply with a probation order.
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing and is schedule to appear in court on April 1.
Police say the identity of the accused will not be released to protect the identity of the victim.
