OPP search for answers in death of North Grenville dog

Police are asking anyone with information about an incident that led to the death of this dog, Stella, to please come forward. (OPP/X)

The OPP is asking for the public’s assistance in an investigation into the death of a dog in the Tompkins Road area of North Grenville.

Police say the family pooch, Stella, was last seen near her home in the afternoon of Aug. 1.

Saturday morning she was located deceased.

Officers say Stella’s death is believed to have been caused intentionally and occurred sometime Friday night.

Grenville OPP is asking anyone who may have information or relevant surveillance video to call 1-888-310-1122 and refer to incident E251032340. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers.
