Police looking for two women in group assault

Ottawa police are looking to identify two suspects who are believed to be in involved in an assault that took place last month in Ottawa’s Vanier neighbourhood.

On July 6 around 2:30 in the morning, two people were leaving a building on Montreal Road when a group of women assaulted them in an empty parking lot, according to police.

The two victims sustained injuries but were not transported to hospital.

Police describe the first suspect as the following:

  • White woman
  • Has long dark hair
  • Wearing black shirt, black pants and light-coloured sneakers at the time

Police describe the second suspect as the following:

  • White woman
  • Has long dark hair
  • Has tattoos on her arms
  • Wearing black shirt, black pants and glasses at the time
