Occupant extricated from vehicle following morning crash

Ottawa firefighters extricated one occupant from a vehicle that had rolled on its side following a crash Sunday morning.
Firefighters say they received a call from police just before 9 a.m. and were asked to report to a collision at the intersection of Templeford Avenue and Tabaret Street in Kanata.
On scene were two vehicles that had collided. One vehicle was on its side and there was an occupant trapped inside.
Crews stabilized the vehicle and advanced a precautionary hose line.
The driver was then safely extricated from the vehicle.
Crews spread absorbent on leaking fluid and cleared debris before exiting the scene.
