CHEO Dream of a Lifetime Lottery tickets now on sale; $5.2M in prizes

A massive home fully furnished and decorated, plus thousands in cash prizes, is available for lucky winners of an annual Ottawa fundraiser.

The Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) Dream of a Lifetime Lottery is back for the 2025 season and hosts a total prize value of over $5.2 million. In addition, there are over 7,400 more prizes to be won through the contest.

But the grand prize is what most people have their eyes on, which alone is worth over $3.7 million.

This year’s Minto Dream Home is over 5,300 square feet and in the community of Manotick. It is interior designed by Tanner Vine Interiors and has an Art Deco style that the press release details as
“Sterling.”

“From the moment you walk in, you’re met with the clean lines and geometric elegance that defined the 1920s, now refreshed with modern materials and a softer, more livable edge,” the release notes.

The grand prize will also include $100,000 in cash, a 2025 Mercedes-Benz SUV, $5,000 gas card, bi-weekly house cleaning, a gift card from Farm Boy and more.

Other large winners include a choice of a 2025 Volkswagen ID or Bronco Heritage Edition, 12 days exploring Thailand and additional cash to make the trip a lifetime experience.

A 50/50 winner is guaranteed to take home a minimum of $1 million.

There are several deadlines to purchase one of 150,000 tickets. The first draw comes on Sept. 26.

The Dream of a Lifetime Lottery grand prize will be announced on Dec. 19.

Benefits from the contest will go to CHEO to improve its buildings, patient experience and more.
