OPP release name of victim in fatal collision

PETAWAWA – A portion of Highway 17 has reopened following a fatal collision near Petawawa Sunday night.

A westbound transport truck collided with an eastbound vehicle around 8 p.m. just east of Paquette Road.

A second vehicle then crashed into the wreckage.

Police say Amanda Kelsall, 22, was a passenger in the first car and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the first car was taken to hospital.

The driver of the second vehicle was not injured.

OPP continue to investigate.
