It’s your chance to stay warm while supporting homeless youth —- it’s ‘Toque Tuesday.’
The annual ‘Raising the Roof’ fundraiser sells toques, mittens and socks and the money goes to support long-term solutions for homelessness in Canada.
In Ottawa, money raised goes to support Operation Come Home; you can purchase your gear at their offices at 150 Gloucester St.
There are an estimated 65,000 young people in Canada who are homeless.
