OTTAWA – A little rain didn’t dampen spirits for those celebrating Pride in Ottawa yesterday.
Crowds lined downtown streets as the annual Pride Parade rolled through The Village Sunday morning.
Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson rode in the parade, along with fellow councillors, again soaking spectators with a water gun.

Ottawa emergency crews were well-represented, with police, fire and paramedics all marching in support of Ottawa’s LGBTQ community.
The parade was led with a banner to honour the lives taken in Orlando, as well as people carrying signs with the names of those killed.

Carter and Sandra of the KISS 105.3 morning show marched in the parade — encouraging people to take #kisswhoyouwant selfies.
