Gatineau police looking for suspect in home invasion stabbing

A 22-year-old man is wanted by the City of Gatineau Police Service after a home invasion on Rue de Charny.
Officers believe Gabriel Labelle-Boisvenue showed up at a home last Sunday at 11:30 p.m. and physically assaulted the person who answered the door.
The victim's injuries were serious, but not considered life-threatening.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Labelle-Boisvenue in this case.
He is wanted on charges of:
– Break and enter;
– Armed aggression;
– Death threat;
– Carrying a weapon for a dangerous purpose;
– Mischief.
Anyone who sees Labelle-Boisvenue is urged to call 911 immediately.
