Death of three Mallorytown family members and dog deemed not suspicious

The Ontario Provincial Police is identifying three people killed in a home on County Road 5 in Mallorytown, and says their deaths are not suspicious.

David Zemel, 63, Grace Zemel, 92, and Abraham Zemel, 91, and their dog were found dead inside of the home when OPP officers conducted a wellness check on October 11.

Police were called in after being contacted by members of the family.

The case is still under investigation, but officers are confirming no criminal activity and want to assure members of the community that that there is no threat to public safety. 

The Office of the Chief Coroner has deemed the causes of death not suspicious, but has yet to release the exact cause.
