OC Transpo bus driver COVID-19 positive after Bayshore, Laurier, Tunney’s Pasture routes

The City of Ottawa says an OC Transpo bus driver has tested positive for COVID-19 after running routes through Bayshore, Laurier and Tunney's Pasture stations.

Their last day of work was Tuesday, December 21, and the employee has been self-isolating since that time. 

OPH has advised that the key dates are the 48-hour period prior to the onset of symptoms; which are December 20 and 21. 

The city says it has begun contacting employees who may have come into close contact with this employee on the key dates.

On the key dates, the employee worked at the following locations:

December 20, 2021

  • Route # 11 Laurier Station 7:11 a.m. to Bayshore Station 8:15 a.m.
  • Route # 85 Bayshore Station 8:24 a.m. to Terrasses de la Chaudiere 9:23 a.m.
  • Route # 85 Terrasses de la Chaudiere 9:57 a.m. to Bayshore Station 10:38 a.m.
  • Route # 85 Bayshore Station 10:53 a.m. to Terrasses de la Chaudiere 11:39 a.m.
  • Route # 85 Terrasses de la Chaudiere 11:56 a.m. to Bayshore Station 12:42 p.m.
  • Route # 85 Bayshore Station 12:53 p.m. to Terrasse de la Chaudiere 1:44 p.m.
  • Route # 85 Terrasse de la Chaudiere 1:56 p.m. to Pimisi Station 2 p.m.
