Ottawa police arrest two men after months-long covert drug trafficking operation

Two 25-year-old men from Ottawa are facing drug trafficking-related charges after a three-month-long covert police investigation.

The arrests happened on Thursday, November 11.

Officers say they seized a loaded Glock, a loaded P80 pistol, as well as cocaine, crack cocaine, percocet pills, Canadian cash, four cell phones and a digital scale.

Charged with numerous trafficking offences, possession for the purpose of trafficking, proceeds of crime and firearms offences are:

  • Abdallah M. Mufarreh, 25, of Ottawa
  • Zakaria Ibrahim Hersi, 25, of Ottawa 

They are scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
