Two Ottawa residents charged after OPP seize stolen property valued at over $600K

Two Ottawa residents have been charged after Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers in Russell executed a search warrant at a residence in The Nation Township in late September. 

On Sept. 26 OPP officers and several units arrested three individuals in total, while seizing six vehicles, a boat and other stolen property. The total value of the stolen items is over $600,000. 

Anjelani Musaka, 34, of Ottawa, was charged with:

  • Altering/destroying/removing a vehicle identification number (two counts)
  • Use, deals, acts on forged documents
  • Obstruct peace officer 
  • Trafficking in stolen goods over $5,000 (six counts)
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 (six counts)

Soku Soku Okitalongo, 31, of Ottawa, has been charged with: 

  • Altering/destroying/removing a vehicle identification number (two counts)
  • Possession property obtained by crime under $5,000 (two counts)
  • Trafficking in stolen goods over $5,000 (incl. possession with intent to traffic (six counts)
  • Possession break in instruments 
  • Use, deals, acts on forged documents 
  • Cause or attempt to use a forged document CC 368
  • Possession property obtained by crime over $5,000 (six counts)

Daniel Parisien. 40, of The Nation, was charged with: 

  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000 
  • Possession property obtained by crime over $5,000 (five counts)
