Police charge 17-year-old G2 driver with second stunt driving offence since October of 2022

A 17-year-old G2 driver has been handed a stunt driving charge after an Ottawa police officer nabbed the individual for speeding on Limebank Road on Wednesday, Jan. 18.

The driver was driving 135 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.

This is the second stunt driving charge the driver has been given in the last three months by the same officer.

The individual was handed a stunt driving charge in October 2022 after driving 120 km/h in a 70 km/h zone on Conroy Road.

The driver is still awaiting a court appearance for the first stunt driving charge, and an additional court date will be set.

Their licence has been suspended for another 30 days and their vehicle impounded for 14 days.
