Firefighters evacuate burning two-storey barn as roof collapsed in Goulbourn fire

Ottawa Fire Services is on scene of a barn fire in the city’s west end.
According to Ottawa Fire Services they received a 911 call at about 7:40 a.m. from a passerby about fire at an abandoned barn is at 6426 Fallowfield d. near Huntley Road in Goulbourn near Stittsville.
Firefighters are working to prevent the fire from moving on to nearby structures.
Tanker shuttles are operating in the area along Fallowfield, so people are asked to lied to emergency vehicles.
Firefighters say there are multiple agricultural buildings close to one another.
Firefighters have also evacuated the burning structure as the roof was collapsing, but there was no one inside.
Ultimately, they have been able to prevent the flames from reaching the main two-storey barn.
The fire was declared under control at 9:25 a.m.
There were no reported injuries.
Ottawa Police have closed Fallowfield in both directions at Huntley Road. Officers are directing traffic on scene.
