GORD FM: Raising money for Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation in honour of Tragically Hip front man

CHEZ 106.1 is celebrating the life and music of Gord Downie by becoming GORD FM as the station marks the third anniversary of his passing by raising donations for local cancer research.

It’ll be all Tragically Hip all the time on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. as the station will play the Canadian band’s biggest hits.

Listening to @1061CHEZ….today they are naming the station Gord 106.1 FM for today. They are playing the @thehipofficial from 9am-9pm all day today in honour of Gord Downie who passed away 3 years ago today
