Families with children and teens attending schools under the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) were given notice of an incident that involved a pick-up truck filming and verbally harassing two students in Centretown West.

The note was sent out to parents on Friday, February 11, and it details that the incident took place at Devonshire Community Public School in the morning when two parents dropped their children off at school.

According to the OCDSB, they were approached by a pick-up truck and verbally harassed by the driver who recorded the incident.

The occupants of the vehicle were asked to leave the children alone.

The parents have since reported the incident to police and the school.
