Rod Stewart coming to Ottawa’s Canadian Tire Centre

British pop-rock singer Rod Stewart is coming to the capital.

Stewart is booked for the Canadian Tire Centre for September 10 and promises to bring some of his best hits with him.

Tickets go on sale in Ottawa on March 4.

Stewart is adding 19 shows to his North America Tour.

And Stewart’s special guest? Cheap Trick.

The 77-year-old released his first album, The Rod Stewart Album, in 1969.

He is best known for hits like Maggie May, Da Ya Think I’m Sexy? and Hot Legs, among others.
