Ottawa city councillor urging caution in Hunt Club area after multiple coyote sightings

An Ottawa city councillor is urging residents to be careful following several coyote sightings in his ward.

River Ward Councillor Riley Brockington says he's been hearing of multiple coyote sightings in the Hunt Club area over the past couple of weeks.

Brockington goes on to say some of the coyotes are not showing any fear of humans and residents are advised not to feed or follow the animals.

If you spot a coyote, Ottawa By-law recommends calling 3-1-1 to report sightings and behaviour.
