Police investigating hit-and-run collision in Orléans after one officer injured

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) are investigating a hit-and-run collision in the city's east end after one officer was injured.
Police tweeted on Friday, Oct. 14, that the collision occurred at a traffic stop in Orléans. The driver fled around 7:10 p.m. and one officer suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said Brian Coburn Blvd. between Tenth Line and Strasbourg is closed, as police continue to search for the vehicle.
There is no risk to public safety but residents are advised to avoid the area. The investigation remains ongoing.
