Ottawa police ask for help identifying witness to Lisgar Street arson in Feb. 2022

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) Arson Unit is working to identify a witness in connection with an ongoing arson investigation.

Around 5 a.m. on February 6, 2022, a fire was set in the lobby of a building in the 200 block of Lisgar Street.

Investigators believe this witness entered the building a few moments later and put out the fire.

The fire caused minor damage and no injuries were reported.
