By CityNews Ottawa staff

The Service de police de la Ville de Gatineau (SPVG) is asking the public for help locating a missing man.

Dallas Collins, 46, is a person experiencing homelessness and both the SPVG and relatives have reason to fear for his health and safety.

While it’s difficult to determine where he is located, police believe he may be in Ottawa or Gatineau.

He was last seen by relatives last week.

Dallas Collins is described as:

  • White
  • French-speaking
  • Approximately 6’0″ (1.83 m) tall
  • Approximately 200 lbs. (91 kg)
  • Brown hair (according to the latest information, he does not have shaved hair unlike the photo)
  • Brown eyes
  • Possible wearing fluorescent colored clothing

It’s possible Collins is accompanied by his dog, a Rottweiler/ bulldog cross. The dog is brown in color and weighs approximately 125 lbs. (57 kg).

Anyone with information is asked to contact the SPVG immediately at 819 246-0222.
