Three unanswered goals lift 67’s in win over Otters

By Anil Jhalli

After a tough loss against the Niagara IceDogs just a few nights ago, the Ottawa 67’s bounced back with a much needed road win on Saturday.

Despite being down 2-1 late in the first, Brad Gardiner would jump start a 67’s comeback, scoring the first of three unanswered goals to give the Barber Poles a 4-2 win against the Erie Otters on Saturday, Dec. 16.

Luca Pinelli, Brady Stonehouse and Kaleb Lawrence also scored for Ottawa.

Lawrence’s eighth goal of the season was the eventual game winner.

Max Donoso made 23 saves to secure his 10th win in goal for Ottawa.

The 67’s have a quick turnaround before their holiday break with a visit to Mississauga to take on the Steelheads on Sunday, Dec. 17.
