One critically injured in Michele Heights shooting; OPS investigating

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is investigating a shooting that happened on Sunday in the capital’s west end that left a 20 year-old man with critical injuries.
Police said they responded to the 2900 block of Michele Heights at around 2:30 p.m. after receiving several 911 calls about a shooting in the area.
Emergency crews found a 20-year-old man with critical injuries on scene. He was transported to a local hospital.
There were no other injuries reported and no arrests have been made.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
