BikeDays underway again in Ottawa starting Sunday

It’s that time of year again, when bicycles take over the capital city’s NCC Parkways for Alcatel-Lucent Sunday BikeDays.

The NCC went all-out for the kick-off to  the 43rd season of Sunday BikeDays.

Some of the festivities included facepainting for the kids and some fun giveaways.

Rogers 105.3 Kiss FM are running a nifty radio contest all week long.

Because of the Sunday BikeDays the Rockliffe Parkway and Colonel By Drive will be closed Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Joining them will be the Gatineau, Champlain and Fortune Parkways in Gatineau, and the Westbound Sir John. A MacDonald Parkway between the war museum and Carling.
