OPP nab excessive speeders

High gas prices aren’t convincing everyone to slow down and save a bit of fuel.

Over the Easter weekend provincial police nabbed two Ottawa drivers for excessive speeding.

Daniel Joseph was clocked doing 140 km/h in a 50 zone in the south end and Jason Tabbara was pulled over doing 220 km/h on highway 174.

That’s double the posted limit.

Both are finding other ways around town today after losing their driving privileges for seven days.
