Search continues for B.C. man missing in Nevada

TWIN FALLS, Idaho – The search continues today for Albert Chretien of Penticton, B.C. in the rugged Nevada wilderness.
He and his wife, Rita, left their home on Mar. 19, and ended up getting lost and stuck in the mud on Nevada’s back roads.
Rita Chretien was found near death on Friday and her son says the 56-year-old woman survived for 49 days on snow and trail mix.
She was airlifted to a medical centre in Twin Falls, Idaho, where a nursing supervisor has said she was in fair condition.
But there is still no sign of her husband.
Police have been scouring canyons and mountainsides along the northern border of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest for Albert Chretien.
Authorities plan to use an aircraft to search from the air, but were waiting for rain and high winds to subside first.
