After just a little more than two months in existence, the segregated bike lanes on Laurier Avenue are proving to be a big hit.
Before September 6, the day after the Labour Day weekend, more than 1600 cyclists were using the lane. Since then, that number has soared to more than 2000. The Sun reporting last Wednesday saw 2400 cyclists on the lanes.
The city reporting the number of cyclists on the lanes has tripled since the lanes first opened.
