Police lay charges in Blackburn Hamlet swarming

OTTAWA – Police have laid charges in connection to a robbery in Blackburn Hamlet.
Around 9:30 p.m. on November 16, a woman was walking along Innes Road when she was attacked by two men, one armed with a knife.
The men made off with her phone; she was not injured.
Lodone Hassan, 19 of Ottawa, has been charged with robbery, five counts of breach of undertaking, and possession. He will remain in custody until a December 16 court date.
A 15-year-old boy, also of Ottawa, has been charged with robbery. He has been released from custody and will appear in court on January 14, 2014.
