About Mark
Mark Sutcliffe is an award-winning broadcaster, columnist, author, podcaster, entrepreneur, and volunteer. A radio host for more than 30 years, Mark hosts Ottawa Today weekdays on 1310 NEWS and Rogers TV, and has led the station's award-winning coverage of major news events including the Humboldt Broncos tragedy, provincial and municipal elections and weather disasters including floods and tornadoes. Mark has written four books including Long Road to Boston. A lifelong volunteer, Mark has served on many local community boards, including as chair of United Way Ottawa, Run Ottawa, the Great Canadian Theatre Company and the Ottawa Board of Trade and has raised more than $250,000 for local causes through his marathon running. Mark is a member of the Order of Ottawa and received a Senate of Canada 150 medal in 2017.
