Splash Wave Pool and Greely Community Centre employees test positive for COVID-19

Two of the City of Ottawa's Recreation, Cultural and Facility Services department employees have tested positive for COVID-19.

The first employee was last at work at the Splash Wave Pool on December 16 and was asymptomatic at the time. After feeling unwell on December 17, the employee got tested for COVID-19 on December 19. A positive test was confirmed on December 19 and the individual continues to self-isolate at home. 

The second case is an employee who was at work at the Greely Community Centre on December 16 and was asymptomatic at the time. The employee got tested for COVID-19 on December 19 and a positive test was confirmed on December 20. The individual continues to self-isolate at home. 

If customers have concerns of exposure, they can contact Ottawa Public Health at 613-580-6744 to speak to a public health nurse or visit ottawapublichealth.ca.
