Algonquin College cancels all in-person and virtual classes following storm

Algonquin College officials announced on Victoria Day that all in-person classes and online classes will be cancelled on Tuesday, May 24.
All employees at the Ottawa campus who may not be directly affected by restoration operations, or have not been directly advised by their manager to attend work on campus, are asked to remain at home on Tuesday.
“The college is receiving regular updates from the City of Ottawa and Hydro Ottawa,” a press release stated. “It is likely cancellations will be extended further into the week.”
College officials will be providing updates via email and social media.
The Pembroke and Perth campuses will continue their normal class schedules.
