Carleton Lodge long-term care centre lifts COVID-19 outbreak status

The COVID-19 outbreak status at Carleton Lodge long-term care centre in Hearts Desire has been lifted.

Donna Gray, general manager of the community and social services department, confirmed the news in a memo to city council Saturday afternoon.

However, the outbreak at Vanier’s Centre d’accueil Champlain is still in place.

The centre currently has two staff members who are positive with the COVID-19 virus.
