Carleton University extending winter holiday break

By Alex Black

Carleton University is extending the winter holiday by five days.

In a memo sent to students, the school said the delay is to allow students and staff more time to enjoy the holiday season, and to rest up between semesters.

The winter 2021 academic term will now start on Monday, January 11 instead of Wednesday, January 6, and the school says all winter courses will be offered online or through other methods of distance learning.

Final exams will still be held between April 16-27.
