Centre d’accueil Champlain resident, Peter D. Clark employee test positive for COVID-19

A resident at Centre d’accueil Champlain long term care home has tested positive for COVID-19, as well as one additional staff member at Peter D. Clark.

Donna Gray, general manager of the community and social services department, informed council of the new positive cases in a memo Thursday.

This means that Centre d’accueil Champlain now has four positive cases of the virus among staff, and one among its residents.

Peter D. Clark now has three employees who have tested positive for COVID-19, but no resident cases have been reported.

Garry J. Armstrong is also currently on outbreak.
