Cyclist critically injured after collision in Nepean

A 28-year-old man was taken to the trauma centre in critical condition, after a collision Thursday morning.

Ottawa paramedics received the call at 6:41 a.m. for a cyclist struck on the Greenbank overpass at Highway 417.

The man suffered multi-system trauma, and first responders performed advanced life support measures.

He was taken to hospital in critical condition.

Greenbank reduced to 1 lane in each direction at 417 – collision. OPS directing traffic. Duration unknown. #otttraffic
