Daughter of Randy Hillier enters federal politics

A local politician's daughter is announcing her candidacy for a federal riding in southwestern Ontario.

Chelsea Hillier, the daughter of Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston Independent MPP Randy Hillier, has been elected as the People's Party of Canada candidate for Elgin-Middlesex-London.

She made her announcement in a video posted to Twitter, with her father's “no more lockdown” lawn signs in the background, as well as a poster that declares COVID-19 is “medical tyranny.”

Chelsea Hillier says she looks forward to “achieving great things with Maxime Bernier.”
