The city may be headed into a lockdown, but that doesn't mean all of Ottawa will be shutdown for the Easter Bunny's arrival this weekend.
According to an announcement from the ByWard Market BIA, people can hop on over to the ByWard Market, which will be safely open to the public throughout the long weekend.
For most businesses, this means also opening Good Friday, in advance of Saturday’s move to the grey zone.
“Retailers will be open with limited capacities and formats Saturday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday,” the BIA explained. “Restaurants and cafés will have take-out, curb-side pick up and delivery only as of Saturday.”
Businesses will continue to follow all COVID-19 public health guidelines.
An individual directory of businesses can be consulted on the ByWard Market’s website.
