A broken water pipe at Earl of March Secondary School has resulted in flooding in a section of the school.

The pipe broke over the holidays.

Due to the flooding, the Ottawa Carleton District School Board has decided to close the school Monday, January 7.

It will be closed for students in grades 7 through 12.

The school is expected to re-open on Tuesday, January 8, although there will be some temporary relocations as clean-up efforts continue.

Additional details will be communicated to staff and students directly.
