It’s looking like a gloomy week ahead for Canada’s capital.
With no sunshine in sight, Environment Canada is forecasting cloudy days for every day of the upcoming week, with some sprinkle of flurries.
Saturday will be the only day the sun will shine through with a mix of clouds and a high of -3 C. The night will be mainly cloudy with a low of -11 C.
Sunday, however, is when the cloudy streak will kick in. The day will bring a high of -4 C and a low of -11 C at night.
Monday, clouds continue with a high of -2 C and the night a low a -5 C.
Tuesday — you guessed it — it will be cloudy. The high will be -1 C during the day with a low of -8 C at night.
Wednesday will continue the grey forecast and usher in a high of -2 C. The night’s low will be around -5 C.
It’s looking a lot like Groundhog Day on Thursday as it continues the cloud cover over the city. The high will be -1 C during the day. For the night, however, there will be a 40 per cent chance of flurries and have a low of -4 C.
